The
Wild Side Project Goals:
• To
build a land-based viewing platform with interpretative signs and
provide an on-site monitor to educate the puplic and monitor the interaction
between Orcas, wildlife and visitors.
• Protect
the rest of the north side/wild side of Malcolm Island
by educating the community on the importance of keeping the Wild
Side a
safe habitat for wild life.
• Focus
on Bere Point becoming an educational area by providing
educational
and research opportunities to youth groups, students and scientists.
