Sointula
as a beautiful and tranquil place located on Malcolm Island and
surrounded by all the natural beauty only British Columbia can
offer. We have Eagles flying freely though the sky, Orcas visit
us every summer from July to September and often frequent the
tip of Malcolm Island in the waters known as Blackfish Sound.
Sointula
is located off the northeast tip of Vancouver Island about
a 4 hour drive from Nanaimo, BC and 6 hours from Victoria,
BC then just a 20 min ride on the ferry from Port McNeill,
BC.
Any way you chose to travel
will provide you with a very scenic trip. Try a
drive up the North Island Highway, fly over Vancouver
Island through mountains to Port Hardy Airport,
or sail up the inside passage through Johnstone
Strait and through the Orcas water way passing
by the Robson Bight Ecological Reserve.
